Andrea Sirrenberg Hunt

Manager, Trainer and Instructor

Growing up in Germany:

Born into an equestrian family in Germany, Andrea is the third generation involved with horses. Her father, Walter Sirrenberg and her grand-father, Emil Sirrenberg, have both won numerous European and German Championships in combined driving as well as CIO Aachen in the 1950s through the 1970s.

As a junior rider, she competed in eventing, and has gathered show experience in dressage and jumping as well. Andrea is also experienced in ground training of any kind, from long lining to driving, training green horses or re-schooling seasoned horses.

Andrea believes in incorporating modern riding philosophies with the old German schooling techniques in order to find a way that will benefit the horse as well as the rider. It is important to select an individualized program that will suit each horse/rider team, and Andrea has a wealth of knowledge to pass to horse and rider.

 Current professional development:

Throughout the years, Andrea has ridden with Jean Luc Cornille, Karl Mikolka, Pam Goodrich and Joy Congdon among others.

As of Summer 2008, Andrea has two competing horses. One is a 17 year old gelding that she has re-trained from a grand prix jumper to a now 4th level dressage horse. The other horse is 7 year old KWPN mare. Both horses have been competing at New England "A"  Rated shows.

Greeting Commitee

You no doubtingly will meet them when you come to visit. Our son, Dylan and daughter, Marleigh are our happy helpers. If they are not out there to welcome you, then I am sure you will meet, "B" Barbette & Lucky, our dogs that love visitors. Serious & George, our Maine Coon Cats, are in charge to keep the un-welcome critters out.
